EtrinaSolar was born out of frustration. When our founder set out to install rooftop solar panels in 2022, he was overwhelmed by conflicting information, opaque pricing, and salespeople who didn't have his best interests at heart.
After months of research — talking to engineers, reading government policy documents, and speaking with homeowners across India — he made his decision, installed a 5 kW system, and hasn't looked back. But he realised that most people don't have the time or resources to do the same deep dive.
That's why EtrinaSolar exists. We do the hard research — comparing panels, decoding subsidies, evaluating installers, and tracking policy changes — and present it in plain, honest language that any homeowner can act on.
We are not a solar company. We don't sell panels or earn commissions from installers. Our revenue comes from advertising and our readers' trust, which is why we always put accuracy and independence first.
